NELSONVILLE, Ohio – As part of the brand’s 75^th anniversary, Georgia Boot is bringing back its popular Sport & Trail collection for 2012. 

Originally designed in the late 1990s as footwear for outdoor enthusiasts that could be worn for work or play, Georgia Boot has not produced Sport & Trail footwear since 2005. Now, due to consumer and retailer demand, Sport & Trail is being reintroduced in two new collections for fall 2012.

When the Holiday season was quickly approaching, Georgia Boot wanted to participate in an activity that would benefit the community and surrounding areas of Nelsonville, Ohio. Food banks have been having an especially hard time keeping food on their shelves to offer to those in need. Due to these dire circumstances, Georgia Boot employees decided to join together to collect non-perishable food items to donate to the Southeastern Ohio Food Center.
