Georgia Giant Met-Guard Steel Toe Work Boots (#G6382):
The upper of this Georgia Giant work boot has been fashioned with Nubuck leather; the smoothness of the material is truly incredible and since it has been oiled the leather looks exceedingly rugged. The lace-up design is the perfect addition to the upper; not only does it allow your feet to rest securely down inside of these work boots, but it also provides you with the opportunity to adjust how tight or loose you would like the bootlaces to fit. A bumper guard has been positioned just above the footwear’s round toe; it is resistant to oil and it is an incredibly valuable feature to have because it assists this footwear in resisting abrasions.
This Georgia Giant work boot is equipped with outstanding safety features that will keep your feet protected. After having met the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification, you can be assured that the work boot’s steel toe is capable of withstanding up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression. Work around electrical equipment? These boots are also compliant with the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard. If you are apprehensive about falling objects and the damage that they could cause to your feet, you can breathe a sigh of relief, because the met-guard on these Georgia Giant work boots has fulfilled the requirements of the ASTM F2413-05 Protective Metatarsal Classification.
With the exception of the quarters, the interior of this Georgia Giant work boot has been lined with a high-performance material; the fabric feels soft and will help keep your feet dry. The cushioned insole has been covered in mesh; this is a very lightweight and breathable fabric, plus the amount of cushioning that the insole provides will keep your feet comfortable throughout the entire day. Underneath, the EVA midsole provides additional comfort and helps to dampen the amount of weight that you put down onto your feet.
While constructing this footwear, Georgia incorporated a steel shank into the design; this feature allows you to have steady footing and it is responsible for supporting the arches of your feet. The Steeler rubber outsole provides exceptional resistance to abrasions, chemicals, oil and heat; it also supplies cushioning that adds to the overall comfortability of this protective-toe footwear. As a result of this footwear being assembled with Goodyear welt construction it will be incredibly durable, have tremendous strength and you can take the outsole (once is has worn down) to a shoe repairman and have it completely replaced.
