Georgia Ironton Internal Met-Guard Puncture-Resistant Work Shoe  is the ultimate in a safety shoe, meeting four ASTM standards and equipped with a revolutionary ANTImpact™ internal  met guard! Beyond that, it's also ultra-comfortable.

Safety first: it comes with a steel toe and a Lenzi puncture plate. It meets ASTM standards for protective toe, puncture resistance, electrical hazard and protective metatarsal, keeping you safe on the job.  

This shoe also has an ASTM-approved flexible ANTImpact  internal met guard. The material of this met guard firms instantly when struck to offer the same level of protection as rigid met guards. After impact, the revolutionary material returns to its soft, flexible state, providing you with the ultimate protection and comfort.

Infused with the Georgia Boot's AMP™ (advanced memory polyurethane) insole, a unique dual layer of polyurethane on the bottom layer for maximum cushioning and a memory foam top layer to ensure the boot's insole is custom molded to your foot.  

A rugged lug outsole that resists oils, chemicals, heat and abrasions, this sole also is cushioning and flexible.

Made with a full-grain leather upper and non-metallic hardware, the Ironton is available with a wideload toe box.

    Protective Toe
    Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
    Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Metatarsal Guard
    Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
    Puncture Resistant
    PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
