Georgia GORE-TEX® Waterproof Composite Toe Comfort Core Low Heel Logger
These black 8-inch men's work boots are Georgia Boot Comfort Core® Loggers. They have a full-grain leather and Armortex® fabric (made with Kevlar®) upper, which allows them to be durable, abrasion-resistant and comfortable. The solid antique brass hardware is sturdy and won't slice through the Georgia Boot® laces. (The laces are guaranteed for life.) The boots also have a brush guard kiltie to block items from getting inside; although, if you don't care for the look of it, this feature is removable.
To ensure this work footwear offers you optimal protection, it has a composite toe that meets the ASTM F2413 Protective Toe Classification. This safety footwear also meets the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard.
A Counter Lock heel ensures that this work Logger fits securely and prevents your heel from sliding within the footwear. Inside, the mesh lining is lightweight and breathable. The Comfort Core® 7 insole is made from memory foam and polyurethane that provides cushioning and support. GORE-TEX® fabric contributes waterproof protection and ensures that these boots remain breathable. An EVA midsole provides stability, increases comfort and absorbs shock. A double-rib steel shank enhances the steadiness of your footing and provides arch support.
The Vibram® outsole is hard-wearing, provides great oil resistance and promotes traction. Quality Goodyear® welt construction gives these boots durability, and you can have the bottom of the footwear resoled once the outsole has worn down.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
