The upper of this Georgia Logger is extremely well thought out. There is the full-grain leather; although it feels amazingly smooth, it has tremendous durability. A brush guard kiltie has been appended to prevent small items (thorns, pebbles, sticks, dirt, grass, etc.) from getting into the interior; keep in mind, it’s removable so you can always take it off. The lace-up design ensures that you able to adjust the fit; its stud hooks are incredibly sturdy because they have been positioned on top of steel washers.
By complying with the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification and the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard, these steel-toe boots are able to offer you superb protection. They are able to withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression, which will keep you safe if an object drops upon your feet unexpectedly.
The interior is filled with features that will keep your feet dry, comfortable and warm. To ensure that they will be waterproof, Georgia built these work boots with GORE-TEX® fabric; it also adds breathability and keeps these boots windproof. The polyurethane footbed supplies relieving cushioning that will keep you comfortable; it is removable, so once the padding starts to wear down, you can easily take it out and add in another insole. For warmth, these work boots have 400 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation.
A steel shank has been built into this Georgia work boot; this feature allows you to have steady footing and it supports the arches of your feet. The Vibram® Tacoma outsole is made of rubber; it is flexible so you will be able to move with ease and it is resistant to abrasions, chemicals, heat and oil.
This Logger was assembled with Goodyear welt construction; it enhances the footwear’s durability, makes them sturdier and it gives you the opportunity to take these boots to a shoe repairman and have the outsole completely replaced once it has worn down.
