The Georgia 6” Flxpoint Composite Toe Work Boot is the latest result of that legacy. It’s a boot that’s a grouping of rugged, durable and comfortable right out of the box. However, don’t be fooled by the light weight. We engineered it to be light, but also Georgia reliable. You’re going to love the G6654 boot.
In order to give you insight about the quality of the G6654 and what you get for your money let’s start at the bottom and work our way up. The Flxpoint rubber outsole is both oil-resistant and is designed for maximum surface contact. This outsole assures that you will have a good grip even when you happen to be in less than ideal conditions on the job.
Flex groves are integrated into the design of the outsole and these are designed to help the boot move with you.
The boots undergo a direct injection construction process so that the sole of the G6654 is permanently bonded to the shock-absorbing PU (polyurethane) midsole, providing your feet with more protection with every step that you take.
You should know that there is a firm TPU heel stabilizer that is integrated with the midsole, which will give you support and supplies torsional rigidity. This is lighter than – but just as effective as – the traditional steel shank. You will have a comfortable, flexible and durable platform for a wide variety of tasks.
Next, let’s discuss the exclusive (yet removable) Double-Stacked™ PU Comfort Core™ footbed. It has a distinctive heel plug that helps promotes impact absorption as well as energy return. Also, note that under the forefoot, the Double Stacked model also has an added layer of comfortable PU to keep your feet even more cushioned.
The composite protective toe is in fact lighter than steel, but the G6654 is fully certified to meet latest ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact and compression resistance. The G6654 also meets the electrical hazard protection standards. These are great aspects of the boot because in the back of your mind you’ll be aware of the fact that the boots will not only be comfortable but your feet will remain protected from danger.
In addition to all of this great technology and performance, the boots are topped off with a genuine leather upper which has been tanned in order to give them the worn, comfortable “broken-in” look and feel right out of the box. Not only will you be comfortable, but you’ll look great at the same time.
