The upper on this Georgia Logger has a very masculine, rugged look to it. It is been made with premium, full-grain leather, and has gone through an oiling process to give it its dark color. You will find that it is durable but flexible.
All of the hardware that has been placed on the #G8010 logger is rustproof. The eyelets have been set on steel washers, and since they are firmly mounted they won’t pull out. While the top hardware consists of solid milled stud hooks- these tend to be a great deal stronger and more durable than the stamped-out hooks-, and for secure closure there is a single top eyelet.
Built onto the topline is the traditional squared-off “stovepipe”, with a padded collar for comfort. It also works with the extra-length tongue for protected closure. The Vibram® outsole, style #132 Montagna Block, was created to be worn outdoors.
