Georgia Boot assembled the upper of this men's Thermal-Tec 6" work shoe with dark brown full-grain leather; this 2.2mm thick material is exceedingly durable yet feels terrifically smooth. You'll be pleased with the padded collar's cushioning; not only is it comforting but it prevents these work shoes from digging into the back of your legs. The pull loop that has been positioned on the back allows you to remove the footwear with ease, while the lace-up design (the hardware is all solid brass milled - very durable) allows you to control the fit.
This Thermal-Tec work shoe has been built with a steel toe to shield your feet against falling objects. Since the footwear is compliant with the ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification, the steel toe is able to withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression. Meeting the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard ensures that these shoes will offer the bottoms of your feet fantastic protection around electrical equipment.
You'll be thrilled with the moisture-wicking lining that has been added to the interior of these boots; it is a very soft material that keeps perspiration off of your skin - great for hot working environments. The Advanced Memory Polyurethane (AMP™) insole fits so great you'll feel as if it has been made from a mold of your foot. Its top layer is made from memory foam and its bottom layer is polyurethane; this combination of materials is amazingly cushioning. The Georgia Waterproof System ensures that your feet remain dry.
Assembling this brown work shoe with fire retardant Goodyear welt construction creates a very hardwearing and sturdy structure; overtime as the outsole begins to wear down, this type of construction allows you to have the footwear resoled easily - just take it to a shoe repairman. The use of tremendously-strong Kevlar stitching adds to the extreme durability of this Thermal-Tec work shoe. The built-in steel shank causes you to have extremely steady footing and offers support to the arches of your feet. The heat-resistant rubber outsole (its melting point is actually 588 ° F) is outstandingly durable, resists abrasions incredibly well, is particularly cushioning and offers topnotch slip and oil resistance.
