Additional Information

Georgia built the upper of these Eagle Light work boots with soft and durable leather. The exterior of these round-toe boots has practical and comfortable features: the padded collar is made from soft leather, and the nylon pull loop (on the back of the boot) makes it easy to get these boots on each day.

While the exterior has great strength, the interior of these 8-inch boots is comfortable. This footwear is fully lined for comfort and to wick away perspiration. The men's work boots also have a Comfort Core® insole that cushions your feet and absorbs impact as you walk, while its Air Flow System keeps your feet cool.

To make the structure of these work boots especially durable and long-lasting, Georgia Boot® built the footwear with a genuine leather welt. The bottom of these boots has been completed with an Eagle Light outsole. The polyurethane material is flexible and provides great cushioning while offering chemical-, oil- and slip-resistance.

If you've been searching for durable, comfortable and hardy work boots, these Georgia Eagle Light Work Boots (#G8083) are ideal for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked my first pair so much I bought a second pair This is my second pair of the Georgia Eagle Light Work Boot as I liked the first pair so much I wanted a second pair in different width and length. In winter I wear a thicker, more heavier insulated boot sock so I needed to have a second pair in a different half-size and different width to accommodate my summer versus winter needs. These are still the most comfortable and light-weight work boot that I have found. I have had my first pair about a year now and have not worn it out so I went for a second pair to accommodate seasonal temperature needs. I have not had the sole-split issue that others have commented on so I must have by chance gotten the later versions of the boot as I have put enough mileage on these boots for problems to have arisen if my pairs suffered from sole issues like others have commented upon. These are not water proof and they are not advertised as such. I love the Comfort Core 6 system. As I have had knee surgery/repair, comfort is critical and I would rather wear out a comfortable pair of knee-accommodating boots each year than go through another knee surgery so I don't mind if I wear out the soles on a boot rather than my knee. I challenge the designers of these boots to put a more aggressive tread pattern on the soles, that is my only complaint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great boots bad sole These are the lightest most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I wore them four months and both soles split, I took them back to tractor supply and got a new pair, glad there is a warranty. Why not put a rubber sole on them and leave the rest of boot alone they would be a little heavier but they would be perfect then.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Leather with Horrible Rubber-Sole breaks I was told by several friends and family members to try Georgia Boots and so I purchased some from my local Tractor Supply. First impressions were that the leather upper were very nice and soft, and so I bought some Mink Oil to apply once a week and keep them that way. It really pays off and the leather stays supple and new looking. I was very happy with my new "favorite boot" until about 6 months in, my right foot got wet walking to my truck in about a half inch of rain. I didnt expect these to be waterproof but with Mink Oil on uppers and rubber soles I should be able to walk across cement when it rains. Under examination I found the right sole had micro cracks in it, presumably from where I bend down and it flexs. I stopped by Tractor Supply and asked about warranty and they said I need to send them to the manufacturer because they have had so many warranty issues in store with exchanges. First, why sell me a boot that has issues, and second stand behind it if you are. I dont treat my boots badly, and I expected more from these. Now both boots have micro cracks in them and it hasnt even been a year. WET FEET everytime it rains....I am better off wearing tennis shoes and that is ridiculous! These boots are as comfortable as your favorite tennis shoes and very light weight, but they leak like a pair of flip flops when it rains. How about change the sole design to be a nice and sturdy as the leather upper? Then you would have the perfect boot and people wouldnt need to buy 2 pairs a year....right?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fixing splitting soles Great boots, very light and comfortable. Not made in USA any more - made in China. Soles split, as others have noted, Georgia Boot will replace in 1 year warranty period but not beyond. If your sole splits and is out of warranty, don't despair; I found that Boot-Fix Glue will repair it nicely. It has handled a month+ of farm work with no further problems. Recommend with caveat on splitting.
