Additional Information

Georgia Hammer Internal Metatarsal Comfort Core® Steel Toe Work Boots:

The full-grain leather that was utilized on the upper of these Georgia Hammer work boots looks incredibly masculine, has outstanding hardiness and is incredibly smooth to the touch. The leather collar has been padded twice, this allows it to provide superior cushioning and it will prevent these boots from digging into the back of your legs. Another great feature on the upper of these work boots is the lace-up design; because of this feature, it is possible to change how tight or loose the bootlaces are fastened, which basically allows you to modify how these boots fit.

The steel toe that has been constructed into this 8 " work boot is able to withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression; it complies with the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification. As an alternative to the inflexible met-guard that you are used to wearing, this men's work boot has been made with ANTImpact™; this internal met-guard still provides fantastic protection against falling objects, but since this is an incredibly soft material, these boots will be much more comfortable to wear. If you work around a great deal of electrical equipment, you'll appreciate the fact that these men's boots have also met the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard.

You are adamant that the exterior of your work boots should be durable and that the interior must be comfortable; these Georgia work boots certainly deliver. Your legs will be enclosed in utter softness, because these boots have been fully lined; the fabric is breathable and wicks away moisture. The Comfort Core® insole cushions your feet, while its built-in Air Flow System ensures that your feet remain dry and cool throughout the day.

While you're working, it is imperative that you are able to maintain steady footing and that the arches of your feet are being supported; Georgia incorporated a steel shank into these work boots to ensure that those considerations happen. The Hammer rubber outsole makes a fantastic base for the bottom of this footwear because it is resistant to heat, abrasions, chemicals and oil; you will also value the sole's tremendous flexibility, because you will be able to move easily.

When you want a durable, protective and comfortable pair of work boots, all you have to do is lace up these Georgia Hammer Internal Metatarsal Steel Toe Work Boots (#G8315).

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.

Georgia Boot Hammer Internal Metatarsal Steel Toe Work Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow wow wow! This is my 4th pair of Georgia boots. So I ordered these in a 10 1/2 because all my other boots fit well at that size. I used these for about a week and they fit a little big. I got a hold of customer service and they told me they were under warranty and I could get a new size. I was really impressed considering that I had worn them. The most COMFORTABLE boot I've ever worn. As long as they keep making a boot with the cc6 insert I will keep buying these boots. Do yourselves a favor and order a second pair of insoles right away because the boots last at least 2-3 years. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only Boots we buy for my husband to wear to work! We buy this same pair, twice a year! My husband works 12 hour days, and these are the only ones that will not wear out as fast, and are safe. Price is decent too especially when there is a sale!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Boot The boots are comfortable and with the internal metatarsal steel toe it provides the protection I need in the shop. The boot is extremely comfortable and helps with all day standing. It is replaceable as well once it is worn out. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the laces broke before the boots were even worn into the second week. I called and they were replaced at no charge, just couldn't believe they broke so quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very well liked. Would have gave five stars but however , the reviews were right on size. Right boot was smaller than the left. I own another pair of Georgia boots which I love. However the sizes aren't the same from one style boot to the other.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foot pain I had them for 6-8 months. The right foot was bigger then the left foot. Then after a couple of weeks of wearing them the ball of my right foot really hurt. On the weekends I would where something else and my foot stopped hurting. Then during the work week my foot would hurt again. With as much padding as it has my feet ought to be happy. I’m a manual machinist and I get coolant on my boots. The leather held up nice but the soles are meh. The stitching held nice but the rubber seems like it could use an upgrade. Get rid of that yellow gimmicky cap. That fell out after a couple of months. I bought them from amazon. Maybe I got knock offs I don’t know. I have been happy with other style of Georgia boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Boot I purchased this boot about a month ago. I really liked them.. I did try to break them in. I used them for about 10 Days, The Right Boot was bigger then the left. My foot was sliding around inside, I tried insoles, did not help. I had no choice but to return them. I really wished the left boot would of fit better, I would of kept them and still be wearing them. I never had this problem before. It must of been the Boot and the way it was made. I Would Recommend this Boot, But be sure of the Fit. It is a Really nice Boot.
