Additional Information

The Georgia Athens Waterproof Work Boot is an 8-inch, soft leather, lace-up boot that you'll wear all day.

Part of the Athens Collection, it features the Georgia Boot Waterproof System to keep your feet dry. Georgia Boot offers a 100 percent guarantee.

The Athens collection offers both comfort and stability. Anchor Disk Technology by Georgia Boot® includes a TPU stabilizer with a built-in shank that absorbs shock and provides additional support and comfort in the areas that need it most.

Georgia Boot's AMP™ (advanced memory polyurethane) insole is a unique dual layer of polyurethane on the bottom layer for maximum cushioning and a memory foam top layer to ensure the boot's insole is custom molded to your foot.

Additional touches of comfort come from the EVA midsole, padded collar and padded tongue.

This boot's rubber outsole resists chemicals, oil and slips. It's a non-marking sole that remains flexible and resists abrasions. So, just work "” no need to worry about where you walk.

    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
    Georgia® Waterproof
Don't sweat it. Air gets in, even though water can't. Water can try to flow past this obstacle, but there's a 100% guarantee it won't. The Georgia Waterproof system comes equipped with a heavily fortified defense against water, because dry feet are happy feet.

Georgia Boot Athens Waterproof Work Boot is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great comfort but they don't last I am forestry student and work in lawncare through college. I bought these boots for myself for Christmas and loved them for the first 3 weeks. They are super comfortable and gave me the ankle support I need working outdoors. However, after the fourth week the leather separated from the soles along where the toe of the boot creases. This made it to where I couldn't even walk through wet grass without my feet becoming soaked. As a college student, I can't afford to spend over $150 on a "quality pair of boots" that can't even last 6 months.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but not rugged I bought these boots about 4 months ago, the front stitching where you can wobble your toes and touch has come undone. I hope to file a warranty claim and get them fixed. Other than that they are very comfortable and were waterproof for about a month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the best This is by far the most comfortable boot i have ever worn, 14 months and still going strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Christmas present! I bought these for my husband for Christmas. His old ones were falling apart so bad, he had to epoxy them together again. He put these on and was immediately impressed with how comfortable they were. He works in all weather situations, so the waterproof feature was top priority. His workday is a bit easier to get through now :) 100% would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent The boots are a perfect fit. The only thing I would change is the top eyelets. They tend to break off over a few months but they cut into the shoe strings. Shoe strings are cheap but if they were the triangular loops it would still be easier to undo the laces.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worn out beyond use in less than one year. I bought these boots about 10 months ago and have been very unhappy with them to say the least. I work in disaster relief/ hurricane cleanup so im in my work boots 100+ hours a week in very rough conditions (working in water and mud and being on your feet all day). The boots were "waterproof" for about the first 4 hours of use.. that was the first major let down after spending good money on "waterproof" boots and then going home with soggy feet after the first day of use. After a month or so the stitching began to unravel on the side of the boots and also where the soles are stitched on causing them to be even less "waterproof". I read reviews where others wear these boots while working in ditches and keep their feet dry but that is very doubtful considering I get wet socks after walking through the wet grass in the morning. The tread on the bottom has held up ok but has broken right where the arch meets the heel. Overall the boots are comfortable, look nice, and are lightweight on the feet but these are far from work boots.. maybe ok for a contractor to wear to the jobsite for a meeting, but If you intend on actually working in these boots I'd highly recommend not purchasing them. The $65 waterproof steel toe Herman survivor boots from Wal-Mart lasted me longer than these Georgia boots did and were actually waterproof. Only reason I gave two stars is that the boots are comfortable, if I was rating only on the quality I'd rate them 1 star.
