Additional Information

Designed for the toughest jobs, Georgia Boot®'s ultra-durable Hammer HD collection offers the CC5 insole for maximum cushioning and air circulation for all day comfort. All Hammer HD styles are equipped with the Wideload Toe Box. The expanded toe box gives your feet space to breathe. These composite toe work boots also feature the ERGO-FIT safety toe which is designed to match the contours of your feet. The ERGO-FIT safety toe's unique shape eliminates discomfort commonly found on the jobsite and provides better range of movement.

The HD is short for heavy duty. The Hammer HD's rubber outsole is both oil and slip resistant in addition being highly resistant to chemicals and abrasion. The Goodyear welt is one of most trusted and dependable constructions in footwear and works in tandem with a steel shank to provide a stable base. High wear areas have been quadruple stitched for added reinforcement.

The weather doesn't always cooperate; when that happens the Georgia Boot® Waterproof will keep you dry all day long. Guaranteed. For warm weather, the mesh lining wicks moisture away. If you're in the market for a pair of boots that work hard like you do, check out the Georgia Boot® Hammer HD!

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
    Georgia® Waterproof
Don't sweat it. Air gets in, even though water can't. Water can try to flow past this obstacle, but there's a 100% guarantee it won't. The Georgia Waterproof system comes equipped with a heavily fortified defense against water, because dry feet are happy feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arch support Bought these on Friday this will be my second pair.I work construction I'm on my feet all day in all different terrains and weather never had a problem with my feet hurting at the end of the day and never once had wet feet. Even though they are waterproof I still treat them once a month with a water repellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable fit I bought this boot to replace my Carolina boots which were very unsatisfactory. So far they have been very comfortable and seem to be holding up in my line of work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Foot room I bought these and have worn them 3 weeks now and just getting broke in! Very comfortable and just like my other Georgia boots I have owned for the last 4 years I will keep buying only Georgia boots!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tariable stitching I bought the boots just under two months ago and the stitches behind the heel, were it meets leather to leather have completely separated. No longer water proof. Still look new!? Have not used any oils or chemicals on them. I will be going back to sportsmen warehouse in the morning to complain about the boots. My first pair of Georgia boots, and not happy at all. Have not even broke them in yet only wear them for work. I work in a construction fabrication plant. So most of the time I'm in side. Also the toe needs to be covered or coated with something the soft leather scuffs up easy. So much for extra stitches!? Would not recommend these boots to anyone never had a pair of boots fall apart this fast, it's a disgrace of a boot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard on feet. Bought these a month ago and can't wear. Make feet and legs ache with only wearing for short periods. Waste of money will be going back to Red Wings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I purchased these 4 months ago, after being a die hard Red Wing fan. Red Wing changed something in design and inserts. Boots holding up very well. I would recommend applying the kevlar boot guard to the toe if you spend alot of time on your knees. For my narrow high arched feet these boots have been great! Haven't needed to change insole yet. If I can get 6 more months from these (I don't see any reason why I wouldn't at this point) I will be a die hard Georgia Boots fan.
