Additional Information

The upper of these barracuda-gold colored wedge work boots is SPR™ leather. Due to the way the leather has been tanned, it has 3 times the strength and it's able to resist abrasions 2 ½ times better than traditional leathers.

This Georgia work boot has been built to comply with the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification and the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard. If an object were to drop unexpectedly on top of your boots, the steel toe can withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.

Goodyear® welt construction enhances the durability and strength of this wedge work boot. Also, once the boot's sole has worn down, you can take it to a shoe repairman and have a brand new outsole affixed to the bottom of this footwear.

For steady footing and arch support, inside is a steel shank. A covered, cushion insole provides comfort and absorbs shock.

The Poly Wedge ULTRA outsole is highly flexible; it's made from a cushioning material and resists abrasions, chemicals and oils, which allows it to hold up nicely.

A hard-wearing exterior, superior safety features, great construction and an excellent outsole... you definitely need to own a pair of these Georgia Steel Toe Wedge Work Boots.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using protective toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
    SPR® Leather
SPR™ leather resists caustic alkali, sulfuric acid, calcium hydroxide, potassium phosphate, caustic potash, and other barnyard acids. It's also pasture-proof

Georgia Boot Wedge Steel Toe Work Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent boot I've been wearing these boots for about a week now. They look great but the heal plates rubs my feet incessantly to the point of blisters. I hope that will stop as they wear in. Otherwise, this is a nice pair of boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Still waiting on exchange and hoping for comfort. With the first pair there was an I'll fit with regard to the right boot and an uncomfortable/painful ridge or bump in the rear right arch area. So hoping the exchanged pair fits properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Best Boot This is the second time I have bought this Boot. I like this Boot because it breaks in fast, although I got a blister on my heel this time, my fault because I went on a two mile hike the second time wearing them, all is well now. The sole has adequate traction but will not pick up pebbles and yard debris, great for when you move from the outdoors to the indoors which I do as part of my profession. I added a tow guard to my boots because I get down on my knees frequently and the toe rubs on the ground so I needed the added protection. The leather upper leather part of these Boots is excellent and I am seriously considering having my previous pair resoled for a back up pair. These are light for safety Boots which makes a huge difference when you have been on your feet all day! I like the laces that come with these boots, they look like eye candy but they actually last for a good while before needing replaced. The insole is very good and comfortable for your feet and it lasts for a good while. The cost for these Boots is very competitive with Redwing Boots, actually less money and better quality, I used to be a Redwing customer. Thanks for the awesome Georgia Boots! We will be back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barracuda Wedge Steel Toe I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break-in period. The non-steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. Safety and comfort---SOLD!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubs heals 1st day in these boots was horrible due to the heal stitching on inside rubbing my heal. Tried tying the boots tighter sending day, still hurting pretty bad. Not sure if they just need to break in but it's a shame because the main foot part feels great but the heal is killing me.
