Georgia Boot Columbus Men's Waterproof Hiker Work Shoes (#G052):
Designed for the Columbus collection, the upper of these Georgia men's work shoes (also great for general wear) has been designed with dark-brown leather and panels of nylon. You'll find the leather to be particularly smooth, which is fantastic because it will allow the footwear to fit comfortably. The nylon is extremely resistant to wear, but adds incredible breathability. The padded collar is outstanding to have because it will prevent these men's shoes from digging into the back of your ankle.
When you are going to be wearing footwear solidly throughout the course of the day, it is a wise idea to choose a pair with a lace-up design, because you will be able to control and adjust how loose or tight the laces are fastened. So, if your feet tend to swell after you have been on your feet for a few hours, this feature is perfect! Also, the antique brass hardware is remarkably sturdy and looks incredibly nice on the footwear.
It's so lightweight that you won't even know it is there, but the mesh lining is a terrific addition to the interior of these 6" work shoes, because it stops the footwear from chafing/irritating your skin. Further down, the polyurethane insole is the source of excellent cushioning that will leave your feet comforted and relaxed. The polyurethane midsole helps to ease the amount of weight that you press down and provides additional comfort to the bottoms of your feet.
Another tremendously beneficial component that has been incorporated into this work footwear is the Georgia Waterproof System. It completely obstructs water from coming into the interior; therefore, when you lace up these leather shoes, you will be able to walk into wet environments confidently, because of the complete dryness protection that these shoes provide.
When assembling these Georgia work shoes, a tempered steel shank was positioned inside of the base; having this feature provides a sufficient amount of stability and helps to ensure that the arches of your feet receive outstanding support. A polyurethane outsole was attached to the bottom of these men's shoes; it's very flexible, has enough cushioning to make it comfortable to stand on all-day long and provides a great deal of oil resistance.
